My wife and I had the opportunity to enjoy the Fort Wayne, Tin Caps, baseball game last evening, courtesy of Indiana Tech. It was a wonderful time, and perfect weather. On the ride home, I thanked my wife for a few things, told her that I loved her, and stated, “I hope we have a lot more of these “date nights” ahead of us. If I can make it to 75, before I kick off, that gives us about 24 years. If I make it past 75, I’ll consider it a bonus”
Her immediate response?
“Tomorrow is a bonus!”
So true, and how quickly we can forget.
Thanks for the reminder, Connie!
